Peter Mann has 35 years of local government experience in transport with city, county and combined authorities in Oxford and Bristol. His responsibilities have included transport strategy, public transport, highways, traffic and parking, at all times working with senior officers, politicians and partners to deliver transformational change.

Since September 2023 he has been part of the programme team establishing the East Midlands Combined County Authority, overseeing the transfer of transport powers, staff and funding into EMCCA from its constituent councils. As EMCCA gets up and running, Peter has been advising on the development of the first single Local Transport Plan and Transport Investment Programme for the area and building new relationships with key partners across the region and beyond.
