The Urban Transport Group has responded to today's Spending Review.

Jonathan Bray, Director of the Urban Transport Group, said:

“It is encouraging that the Government has made a significant commitment to investing in active travel and public transport in the Spending Review. Transport authorities have ambitious plans to get more people making more journeys on foot, by bike and on public transport which this funding will support. However, we now need to fully understand how all the various elements of transport funding announced today will be allocated before we’ll know how this will translate into bus service provision in particular.”
