Transport for Greater Manchester
Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) is the local government body responsible for delivering Greater Manchester’s transport strategy and commitments.
More than 5.6 million journeys are made across Greater Manchester’s transport network each day.
Greater Manchester’s transport policies are set by the Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) headed up by Mayor Andy Burnham, and the Greater Manchester Transport Committee (GMTC).
TfGM implements the decisions made by GMCA and GMTC to improve transport services and facilities in Greater Manchester.
