The South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority (SYMCA) is a formal partnership of councils that shapes policy and leads on decision-making.

SYMCA is working to create a transport system that’s fit for the 21st century. It will build a transport system that works for everyone, connecting people to the places they want to go within the region as well as nationally and internationally. Its transport system will be safe, reliable, clean, green and affordable.
