Urban Transport Next: Journeys for everyone (with Mayor Richard Parker)
Richard Parker was elected Mayor of the West Midlands in May 2024.
One of his four priority areas is ‘journeys for everyone’, with the goal of connecting communities and making travel easier, safer and more affordable for everyone. As part of this, the Mayor plans to bring buses back into public control, continue extending the West Midlands Metro, complete major infrastructure projects such as the new Dudley Interchange for bus and Metro, and improve road safety.
Join the Mayor for a special conversation where he’ll discuss his vision for transport across the West Midlands.
