Member webinar: Menopause in the workplace

Menopause is often a taboo subject, and yet it will affect 52% of the population by, on average, the age of 51. 68% of women aged 50-64 are in employment and for many, menopause coincides with the point at which they are at the peak of their careers with an abundance of skills and experience to offer. However, almost one million women have left their jobs due to severe symptoms representing a huge loss of potential.

This webinar is intended to raise awareness of menopause in the workplace and to offer our Members inspiration around how they can support their staff.

This internal webinar is open to all staff across the UTG network.

At the webinar, you can hear from a practising GP with a special interest in women’s health, mental health and menopause care as well as insights from two of our members who have made huge progress in this area - Transport for London and Liverpool City Region Combined Authority.
