We will be holding an in-person event on bus franchising and zero emission buses. The event will be in two parts:

PART A (10am to 12.30pm)

• An opportunity to learn more about Merseytravel initiatives in relation to ZEBs (including planning software / shared depots / hydrogen buses)
• Progress update on joint workstreams agreed by the dedicated session on joint and innovative procurement of ZEBs in Leeds on 30 November 2022

PART B (1pm to 4pm)

• A workshop to share approaches to bus franchising including in relation to:
  • Service levels / specification / sequencing / branding
  • Fares and ticketing
  • Fleets and depots
  • Lessons learnt along the way – including on the process
